Victoria Film Festival has given him an even steadier foundation in arts
administration, with a knowledge of funding and external resources that
will serve the VMS well. Mike is a strong supporter of the VMS and VEC,
assisting where he could over the years leading up to his current position.

to building stronger relationships within his new family at the VMS.

Lisa Cordasco
"As a reporter for CBC Radio for more than 20 years, I have had
the opportunity to watch the evolution of this city from a "quiet, quaint
capital", to a place that offers some of the most exciting community
and performance events anywhere. This is due, in no small part, to the
Victoria Event Centre, which has been at the forefront in offering young
talent an affordable, welcoming environment to hone their craft. I
look forward to helping assist this venue to build on it's
proud past."

in the BDSM water for years, and she and her partner, Fisherman, are
dedicated to spreading the word about the joys and humor of kind and
the BDSM lifestyle! Sam is always very busy, spreading the kind word at
conferences and workshops including the BIO of Vancouver, UVIC and
Camosun College. Sam is probably the oldest woman ever invited to "hang"
from the ceiling at Victoria art shows and can be found on any given Tuesday
evening doing a stand-up kink comedy at regular Sagacity gatherings!
