The Victoria Event Centre is committed to Environmental Sustainability. Where possible, non-toxic paints, disinfectants and cleaning products are used and materials, food and beverages that are sold are grown organically and locally.
You can do your part and ensure that your event is carbon neutral by purchasing CO2 Offsets. For a zero footprint event, the Victoria Event Centre will purchase one tonne of CO2 Offsets from Zerofootprint.net at a cost $16.
The Victoria Event Centre is exploring the purchase of green power for your event; however, there are no programs at the moment in British Columbia.
Please indicate your preference to hold a "green", "carbon neutral" event when discussing the details of your contract.
